Baby Boy Waterfall Folio

I am so sorry I have been MIA for several weeks...
My Son was in Umass Hospital for 4 weeks on a ventilator and had several surgeries with in those weeks in the hospital. He came home almost two weeks ago and is on his long road to recovery.
He is doing well and healing nicely...

This is my son and me about 3 years ago... It was so hard to see him in the condition he was and I was so lost... My mind was racing all the time, I feared the phone ringing...

Well onto a wonderful crafting project that I made for pictures of my beautiful grandson....
I have been wanting to make something so I can display his pictures...
But couldn't find any nice baby boy papers in the stores so finally I find a great website and I am in love with it and all their great selections...

I found the paper pack that would work just great ...
A Bundle of Joy Boy by Echo Park

The idea for the Waterfall Folio comes from My Sister Scrapper, she actually used the same paper pack and made one too and that is what inspired me ...
Thank you Ginger!
Stop by her Youtube Channel and check all the great tutorials and projects she shows...
I have learned alot from her and have been inspired to try new things..

https://www.youtube.com/user/mysistersscrapper

Now to show you all my beautiful Waterfall Folio...

I love the colors and the little animals of this wonderful paper pack...
I made the tags for the side pocket

This came together so quick and easy!
You can make one for special events, birthdays, holidays and etc...

This would have only taken me a couple of hours if I wasn't side tracked by my daughters...
This a great project to make with the kids for the end of school year ...

I am getting ready to make another one that is for when my daughters help me bake ... I can't wait to get started...

This is a great project that doesn't require a cricut or a cameo...
There are days when i just don't want to use my machines and I want quick simple project to put my photos in and this is the cutest...

Remember stop by and check out Ginger's Youtube Channel...

Hope you all enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting!

Easter Projects and Vinyl Organizing Idea

Hello Everyone....
It is snowing once again here and the snow just keeps piling up..... I am so ready for Spring!

I have been busy working on Easter Projects to help break up the Snowy Wintry Blues...

These little stuffed animals have been a huge hit and I can't keep up with the request for them but they are so adorable...

I also have been working on some more organizing in my Craft Room for the Vinyl... I found this shoe over the door holder to store some of my vinyl for me, so it is a bit easier to see what I have and what I need...
Still looking into something else for storage for the Vinyl... Hubby has a small tool box on wheels that we are going to fix up and paint for the heat press for me.. and it is the perfect size to had to craft room and that way I can have my heat press ready for use whenever I may need it...

I am also very excited about the new video series that I am going to be started this weekend... I will be doing a few videos on the Ipad and Cricut Explore.... Omg I love it!!!!

Also very excited about the Groovy 70's Blog Hop this weekend .... So make sure you stop back by March 7th, 2015 and check out the great hop that will be going on this weekend....

Valentine Nugget Treat Box

Happy Sunday to Everyone!
We are having another Blizzard here this weekend.
I am so over this snow, we can't even look out the kitchen windows without looking into snow piles.

Valentine's Day was a bust due to the snow and now the wind... Currently with the wind it is -13 outside... So today we are going to spend it remodeling our bedroom and spending time with the girls...

So on to some crafting!
I made these adorable treat boxes for my two youngest daughter's teachers.

I used the Cameo to make these. The bear is a cute little print and cut from the Silhouette Store and the hearts are from another design too.... I typed the saying and used a tag design from the silhouette store... The box comes from SVG Cutting Files. It was a ocean themed box treat but I redid it so I could use it for these Valentine Treats...

I wrapped the nuggets with a stripe of Valentine Cardstock....

These were so much fun to make.

I have been having fun creating Valentine Crafts this year...

I wanted to use my Cricut Explore for most of them, but due to an issue I was unable to use it for these projects... But with the support of Cricut Tech Support the machine is now back up and running... So I am hoping to be able to find some really cute and fun St. Patrick's Day projects to do using the Cricut Explore.

Tomorrow Cricut will be down due to the upcoming release of the Explore Air and the Upgrade to the software... I am excited for the update and can't wait to see it....

So stay tuned for some more fun and exciting projects and videos coming soon....

Thank you for stopping by today...

Heart Wing Lollipop Valentine Treats

It is a snowy day here and we are getting hit with Blizzard supposed have at the end of the storm approx 30" of snow... so I will be busy working on a few more different Valentine Projects and I am hoping to be able to make a Valentine Tutorial too..

I have a few projects to work on with my daughters too, so it is going to be a crafty snowy couple of days...

Also will be working with my daughter to make her tutorial video for her Loom Bracelets...

Here is another Valentine's Treat Project to show you today...

These are so adorable and fun to make.

I got this design from Svg Cutting Files
( Dollar Design Section)

I used Peachy Keen Face stamps to do the adorable faces and used pink chalk to rosey up the checks and white gel pen to add freckles. I got heart shaped lollipops for these.

I used baker twine to tie them closed... they go together quick and they are so fun to make...

I played with 3 different faces to make them different and also used different embossing folders to add texture to the wings and to the scallop circles....

These are great for the kids to hand out to their class for Valentine's Day...
You can also stamp on the back To and From...

Valentine Hershey Treat Box

Good Evening Everyone!
I have been busy working on a few different ideas for Valentine's Day...

I love making things for my daughters to hand out to the Class Mates and their Girl Scout troops... I try to make different ones for them...
This year my daughters also have some really wonderful bus drivers so I decided that they deserves a cute little treat for Valentine's from the girls...

I found this cute little 4 hershey box in the silhouette store around Christmas time, but ran out of time and did not make any. But thought this would be cute for Valentine's Day...

The Scallop Circle and the Heart are actually from a Valentine Treat set that I bought at SVG Cutting Files...

The Paper I used for this project is from Michael's...

I used some Baker's Twine around the box.

Each box holders 4 Hershey Nuggets...

I cut strips of paper 7/8" x 3" and wrapped around each one of the nuggets.

This can be made up in less than 10 minutes... nice quick project.

I am thinking of adding a small tag to them for the girls to sign.

I hope you enjoyed my project and come back again soon to see more projects...

Have a good night...

Happy Crafting!

Special Delivery Card

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe.
We have been having some small Earthquakes here in Connecticut... it is a big scary, especially cause we really are not an area that gets Earthquakes ...
In the past 7 days we have had 11. The biggest one we have had so far is a 3.3.

So it is a little nerve racking right now... trying to get my mind off of it....
So today I decided that I wanted to work on some fun projects...

I wanted to make a Valentine Card and use my Cameo... I haven't used the Cameo in about a week or two... I found this adorable Valentine print and cut in the Silhouette Store today...
He is so adorable...

The Card base is also from the Silhouette Store and the label too...

I typed " Special Delivery" on the label and print and cut...

This was a fun and quick project for Valentine's Day...

On the inside I stamped Happy Valentine's Day... I got the stamp from Michael's Dollar Bin...

I hope you all enjoyed this project for today and stop back again soon... more to come...

Craft Decor Cricut Explore

Good Afternoon!

Today the girls went back to school, so I am taking this time to play in the craft room.... I am working on my Foto Folio from Kathy Orta...
I am having a hard time with it so I am taking a little break from it....

Last night I decided that I wanted to make something for myself.. I hardly make anything for myself and keep it. So I made myself a lighted Glass Block for my craft room.
I love it and I have it displayed in my craft already...

I used the Cricut explore to make it....
I was looking for a design for "live laugh love" and ended up finding one that was perfect for the craft room...
"Live Love Craft"
If you do a search in the images you will find it... type in live laugh love and this design will show up....

This is made with the Small Square Block from Hobby Lobby.
It is the perfect size for the craft room....

I used vellum on the inside to give it that frosted look.... I cut it to 1/8" smaller that size so that way when I apply it to the inside it fits perfect... I used tiny glue dots to hold the vellum in place...

I hope you enjoyed today's project and come back again...

I am excited that I am currently working on a new tutorial.... coming soon!

Happy Crafting and Have a wonderful day!

First Project with Cricut Explore

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.
Today is the last day of Christmas Break for my daughters.

We were getting some nasty wintery mix weather here this weekend, so I wanted to work on something for the girls room for them. So took a trip to Hobby Lobby with them Friday. We were supposed to go to one store and ended up a different one, which was interested and fun.
It was a great afternoon for the girls and me.
We picked up a few projects for all of us to work on.

I love the glass blocks and have been wanting to make one for each one of my daughters.

Each one of my daughters like something different so it was fun creating each one of them a block....
I made each one a block... I will show you 2 of 3... the third one I am keeping a secret until January 18th... you will have to come back then to see it....
( I am in a Blog Hop and I am going to use it has my project)

I used my Cricut Explore to make these. I had to use Inkspace to create an SVG file for the batman block.

My oldest daughter is in love with Batman everything ... she is 18 but still loves to be a kid at heart...

I used a image that I found on the internet for her block... I did it on the girly side for her...

Batman one is layered and has a light added to the bottom of it....
I really like how it turned out.

I used vellum as the background to give it that frosted look.

My Middle daughter's nickname is Minnie and she loves everything to do with Mickey Mouse and Minnie. So I found an image on my Cricut Design Space and used the black out for the Mouse Head and then used Walt Disney Font from my computer to do her nickname.
She doesn't want a light in it. She wants to put candies in hers. I put white Tulle inside of it until she adds candy to it.

I really love how each one turned out....

I am having fun playing with the Cricut Explore and Design Space....

I hope you enjoyed my project for today ... come back often and watch for tutorials coming soon....

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year!

We stayed home with our daughters and watched movies and had pizza dinner...
It was a great night. Hubby and the two younger girls passed out minutes before midnight, so my oldest daughter and I brought the new year in together....

So today is the first blank page to a new 365 page story...

I am starting my with a positive attitude and going to start small and work my way up ....
I spent the day with my daughters and watching tv and resting up after this long week.
Hubby had to work a few hours today.

So now I am sitting up in the craft room and setting up to start a new project... I bought Kathy Orta's Foto Folio 2 Tutorial kit last month and have been wanting to start one and just did not know where to begin or what I wanted it for. But today I decided that I want to make one that I can reflect back on next years day of my daughters... so for the next 12 months I will be taking pictures of them and putting them in the foto folio, so next year I can see how much they have grown and changed over the year.... they are growing so fast and sometimes we don't realize how much that they have changed. So I thought this would be a great way to see those changes and have those memories forever....

Here is the link to Kathy Orta's Site.... She has some wonderful tutorials and can't wait to get started...

http://shop.paperphenomenon.com/main.sc

Well it is time for me to get started on my new project.... I will post pictures and a video when it is finished.

Happy New Year Everyone!
